1. The Kids’ AI Summit is open to all primary and secondary school students across the region, aged 6 to 15.
2. The event is free of charge for all participants.
3. This summit is not a competition, so there is no selection process.
4. Interested participants must complete the “Registration” form. The eligible participants will be notified in mid-June.
5. Participants will be notified of their acceptance and assigned time slots in the confirmation email.
6. Once the time slot is confirmed, it cannot be changed or exchanged with another participant.
7. Absence from the assigned timeslot will not be assigned a new timeslot.
8. Only notified participants with an assigned timeslot will be allowed on stage. Timeslot cannot be changed.
9. Each participant will have 3 minutes to present on a topic related to AI.
10. Presentations can be delivered in Cantonese, Putonghua or English.
11. Participants may express their views any aspect of AI: (1) AI & Everyone, (2) AI & Human Autonomy, (3) AI & Ethical Agency, (4) AI & Children’s Wellbeing, (5) AI & Human Creativity, (6) AI & Education (7) AI & Future Careers.
12. There is no preparation area on the show floor.
13. Participants are required to dress appropriately for the event.
14. Parents are welcome to attend the summit to support their children. They need to register for the Learning & Teaching Expo online.
16. Parents are advised to be in the audience area to support students on stage.
16. All participants and audience are expected to maintain a respectful behaviour throughout the event. Leaving the venue before the presentations of the respective session conclude is not recommended.
17. All participants will receive a certificate of participation following their presentations.
